Accept Credit Cards Online

Are you at risk?

A baseline assessment of your environment is essential to identifying your company's exposure to risk.  The baseline assessment will identify the essential vulnerabilities that your attackers have already reviewed.

The (Black Hat) hackers have already scanned your business, and already know what openings you have, even with a Firewall in place!

Think about it, HB Gary the Federal Government's Largest Security Contractor was hacked.  The PlayStaion Network was hacked.  The Sony OnLine Entertainment network was hacked and exposed more than 77 Million account holder records and Credit Cards.

You need the services of Ethical Hackers to identify and recommend changes to your business to keep your operation secure.

Our Experience works for you

We have an extensive compliment of tools at our disposal to help us determine the both the breath of the network, and the resources which are able to be accessed.  While we certainly are not black hat hackers, we can easily identify the resources that the professional hackers see.

We only scan our customers after they have given their permissions.  We have been scanning our customers networks and services since 2001. Clearly we have the experience in determining the true vulnerabilities that are seen in your network.

We are White Hat Hackers, experienced and ready to service your security needs.

Sony Playstation Hack

This link shows the progression of the Sony PlayStation Attack where Hacker potentially stole 77 Million Credit Cards.  The image also depicts a conversation which was found from the Hackers.

"We have a network that gave people services free. It didn't seem like the likeliest place for an attack."

The attacks were launched from the Amazon Cloud servers.  Conservative estimates are that the Attacks will Cost Sony more than $1.2 Billion from lost business, various compensation costs, and new investments.

Can you afford to not have your network audit performed?  Sony's Team believed that they were not at risk.  What is your team saying?

China's Blue Army can deploy attacks

I have been saying for a number of years that is extremely easier for another country's forces to perform attacks through the Internet, that it ever would be to bring them to our shore.  -- Albert E. Whale, CHS CISA CISSP

"China has admitted for the first time that it had poured massive investment into the formation of a 30-strong commando unit of cyberwarriors — a team supposedly trained to protect the People's Liberation Army from outside assault on its networks."

PBS Web Sites & DBs Hacked

Posted 6/1/2011 - AE Whale, Are your systems safe?

"Late Sunday night, hackers gained access to several areas of PBS Web servers and were able publish a fake news story on a PBS news blog. The group also published PBS internal user login information that they were able to siphon out of PBS databases. The fake story was about rapper Tupac Shakur, who died in 1996 after being shot in Las Vegas, being been found alive and well in a small resort in New Zealand. A group going by the name of 'LulzSec' claimed responsibility for the hack, saying the attack was a protest against a PBS Frontline broadcast last week about WikiLeaks."

LulzSec Hack an internal facing server.

Posted 6/14/2011 - Albert E. Whale, CHS CISA CISSP

How do you increase the awareness of security issues?   Well, if you are LulzSec, you hack an internal facing website, of the US Senate!  Here's some important information from the internal facing webserver

Of course the Senate is mad now, but why didn't they protect their information before the attack?  Is your company also at risk?

Citigroup Hacked - What's in your wallet?

Added 06/15/2001- by Albert Whale, CHS CISA CISSP

Everyone know's the commercials, 'What's in your wallet?'.  Yesterday News was released about Hacker able to steal the personal info from 200,000 of CitiGroup website using a simple technique.  See the on-line article here.

I say that this is a simple technique, because it is one of the many types of issues we test for as Security Consultants.  What do you think people will remember about this?  Well, I for one think that they need to change their slogan from 'What's in your Wallet?' to something else.

Types of Hackers

Just to clarify the difference in Hacker approaches, Ethical Hackers are White Hackers which employ their skills for thier customers.

White hat
A white hat hacker breaks security for non-malicious reasons, for instance testing their own security system. This classification also includes individuals who perform penetration tests and vulnerability assessments within a contractual agreement.
Black hat
Black Hat Hackers break into secure networks to destroy data or make the network unusable for those who are authorized to use the network.
