Entourage for the Mac is similar to other tools to read Email. Each mail reader has an InBox (the place where New Email is stored), and the ability to sort Email into folders.
Organizing your Email into folders will help you become more efficient in locating your email.
In earlier version of Entourage they were called "Folders on My Computer". In Entourage 2008, they are "On My Computer".

Before you can set-up a rule to sort Spam into a Spam Folder, you need to create a Folder to hold the marked messages. You can create a folder which is a subfolder of the Inbox, or you can keep the folder at the same level as the InBox.
Where you place the folder is entirely up to you.
Create a Custom Rule
After the Folder to hold the Spam is created, we can create a custom rule to move the spam to the Spam Folder.

You can Select a message in the Inbox with the Subject: [Spam Score .... or you can create the rule manually.
- The first element is called the selction criteria, the second part of the custom rule is called the action.
In the criteria, you want to select messages with the Start of Subject having: [Spam Score
All message which SpamZapper detects as either potential Spam (scores in the range of 5-7), and verified Spam messages (anything scoring 7.0+).
- The second part of the rule, the action, tells Entourage to move the message to a distinct folder, in this case the Spam Folder (which we created above).
These two steps will place all messages with the Subject marked as [Spam Score into a separate folder so that you can examine the messages, and delete whatever is not wanted.
Please remember that the SpamZapper will automatically delete messages, at any score you select. For first users, we recommend Attach Spam Report for Spam messages, and after a week (or whenever you decide), we recommend using Attach Spam Report & Auto Discard Message for tthe threshold you want. We generally recommend using anything above 12.0 for the Discard Level threshold.
