The Email Manager permits the administrator to manage (Create, Change, Delete) the Email addresses used in their domain.
The Email Manager provides two screens, the first screen lets the Administrator select the domain name to work with. This permits the Administrator to easily manage multiple Domains on the same server.
Since each Administrator can only access the domains within their control, a single server can be used to support multiple hosting domains.
This is Server Administrator screen for the Email Manager. Notice that the administrator can select the Hosted Domain, and also select to Edit or Delete the selected domain name, or Add a new domain.
After selecting to Add or Edit the domain, the administrator is presented with these options:
- Pop Accounts (can access Email, via POP3, IMAP or Web Mail),
- Alias Addresses (an email alias can be used to redirect email to an authorized user or another Pop Account),
- Autoresponders
- Mailing Lists
Here is the Email Manager page for the selected domain. We are using the domain name emailsecurity.us as our example domain.
The top half of the screen reports the current state of the server for the Email Manager. The bottom half of the server permits the administrator to modify the email settings for the current domain.
Updates made with the Email Manager will be sent to the connected servers within 5 minutes.
After selecting to Add or Edit the domain, the administrator is able to Create these services for email addresses in the domain:
- Pop Accounts
- Alias Addresses
- Autoresponders
- Mailing Lists
