CleanContent filters on the content of the web page being visited, so if someone changes the content on a site which you think is safe to surf, and it suddenly has unwanted content, you can rest assured that the content will be blocked. Of course you remain in control and can easily implement an exception for the site to over ride the filtering.
CleanContent makes it easily to specifiy either a positive or negative configuration list. You can implement a restrictive list of sites which can be viewed, or in a permissive setting, it will permit you to allow all of the pages of a site to be viewed, bypassing the content check.
