Adding Non-Disclosure statements

There are Many regulatory efforts which mandate that our organizations need to perform the due diligence necessary to protect the confidential information in our daily business operations. Some of these regulations include Sarbanes Oxley, Gramm-Leech-Bliley, HIPAA, the PA Breach of Personal Information, not to mention pure common sense.

Adding a disclaimer (or footer) on the bottom of each outgoing email is easy. We have already added this feature in the SpamZapper configuration settings. You may have seen the various settings and Whitelisting capabilites on Page One of the configuration, but the disclaimer text is stored on Page Two. Here's a step by step guide for storing a disclaimer text for your company's (or your domain's) out bound email.

First of all, you need to login with your account information to the Server Administrator site (this is usualkly done as the Domain or Network administrator for your organization). The Login page is located at:
Click the ServAdmin link on the left
  • http://www.spam-zapper.com
enter your id and password then click configure.

When you have the Server Administrator page up, you can select the spamzapper button on the left panel. You will then be given a drop-down box to select the domain you want to configure, select the Domain (not an email address), then click the login button.

This is the SpamZapper status page (complete with a graphical report about your domain), for the domain name you selected. Now you can click the Configuration button, and enter the basic configuration page.

At the bottom of the page is the Next button, click it to go to page two. In the middile of the page you will see the text:

Email Signature or Non-Disclosure Statement for all Outgoing Email: - Enter your text or HTML formatted text into the field and this information will be appended to all of your outgoing emails.

Please note, that this setting is only available to adminitrator for the domain. If you have other users with access, they will not be able to change the disclaimer text for their either. They will not be given the option to see this information.

OK, that's it! Now if you had your login credentials, htat should have taken you all of five minutes. Now you can kick you feet up and take a break!

Dear Concerned Internet User,

Conducting Business on the Internet can be a daunting task, especially if your private information gets into the wrong hands. Many organizations have mandated that their email have a disclaimer put at the bottom of each outbound email. We will show you how to perform this function with the SpamZapper configuration tools.

  • More than 30 Million Connections
  • In the past two years, we have successfully filtered more than 30 million Email connections. This has been a tremndous savings for our customers.

We are especially proud of the fact that we have never sent Spam to advertise our services. In fact most of our customers have been referrals or Word of mouth. None of our competitors can say this. In fact their bylines include "if you had our product, you would not be reading this spam right now."

We feel that this is simply counter intuitive, to send spam about our Email Filtering and Security services. We already know that SpamZapper saves countless hours, and pays for itself each and every month, including improving your system's Security.

We have put the ability in your hands to review the email logs for your Domain, Email Address, or whatever messages you select. Our On-line Log Viewer is available in the SpamZapper module menu.

  • Enterprise Management

A great deal of focus is made on the use of Firewalls for protecting Networks with Internet Traffic. Until recently, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) were on the forefront of technology available to protect networks. The problem with IDS is that it relies on traffic signatures already being inside your network!

Active Defense is our solution to protect Networks, Servers, and your environment. Using Active Defense we have successfully weathered all of the Internet Storms, Worms, and Viruses. Active Defense is more than a Firewall solution, it is an Intrusion Prevention Solution (IPS).

Our customers experience the benefit of our Protected servers, and have experienced first hand the Benefits of Active Defense. Most of the beneifts include the reduction of external internet connections, and direct improvements in their own network response time. Some of our customers are also having us deploy our Active Defense in their networks as well. Isn't time that your were protected as well?

Many of our customers are awaiting the release of Microsoft's next product, Vista. We feel that Vista's long overdue delivery is yet another signal of the difficulties our customers will experience when it is finally released. Microsoft on the other hand has prepared for Vista, by trying to expand into the Linux world.

Most of the experts agree that in order to run Vista, you will need to replace your existing installed hardware base, not to mention the expensive license fees associated with this New Operating System.

We have been running Linux for more than 15 years. Linux is the Cost effective solution which uses your existing hardware to perform the same tasks. Let us help you prepare for Vista.
